Happy Birthday Ames!

I wish I could put his smile and laugh in a bottle and keep it forever.

The joy Ames has brought to us cannot be put into words. Justin and I had almost given up hope that we would be able to have a baby. I was pretty nervous through most of the pregnancy, trying to be overly cautious and do everything right.

I don't know who was more excited the day he was born....me, Justin or Calee. It was one of the best days of my life, followed by one of the best years ever. We literally fought over who could hold him. He was one of the sweetest, funniest babies you could ask for. (and that red hair----geez!!!)

He slept all night at 8 days old....rarely cried...laughed and smiled constantly..etc, etc. Ames was the type of baby that made you want to have many more just like him=)

Now, he is 2 and a big brother!

He is still a happy and sweet little boy. He makes us all laugh and smile everyday. I truly get excited when I hear him start to wake up in the morning....(even when it's 5 a.m.) I am so happy to be his mom. I can't wait to see what he does with his life-

  2. I'm glad I'm not the only one with tears! Ames is so much fun and I can hardly believe he's already 2! I remember how excited we were for him to get here...especially since he was 10 days past his due date. Love that little man!
